There are just some things you have to see to believe. There is a valve installed in this valve box that goes no where. A foot outside of the valve box the line is capped off. This work was done by a local irrigation contractor. It is sad that this type of work exists out in the field, but it is proof not all irrigation contractors know what they are doing.

Another thing I would like to point out is how poorly located all the valves are in this valve box. The solenoids are tight to the walls of the valve box. The valves should be more centrally located for easy servicing. You will never find this in a Rain Makers installation.
